Guideline (from 1 May 2015)
DTU employees are entitled to the following day(s) off paid by DTU:
Other annual public holidays and days off paid by DTU:
- New Year's Eve
- New Year's Day
- Maundy Thursday
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- St. Bededag (fourth Friday after Easter) (until 2023)
- Ascension Day
- Whit Monday
- Christmas Eve (24 December)
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
If a paid day off falls on a day that is already a non-working day, e.g. a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, no additional day off will be granted.
Approval and entry into force
The guideline on holidays and days off was approved by the Executive Board and discussed by the Cooperation and Joint Consultation Committee (HSU) in March 2017.
The guideline becomes effective from the time it is published on DTU Inside.
Revocation and amendments
The guideline can be amended subject to 3 months' notice following a review by the Cooperation and Joint Consultation Committee. Any amendments will be communicated via DTU Inside.
